Day in and day out
A frail and delicate transplant
Of soundless silent beauty
In a world of perpetual noise
Achingly lonely
Painfully blending in
My heart breaks
As the noise assaults me
Why? Why must I always
Speak your way?
So much is lost in translation
So much beauty and wonder
My heart hangs in two halves
Barely hanging on
A victim of this miscommunication
Of words signed but not spoken
Of bound hands
Left unheard
